Dairy Farm
The Sree Satyananda Mahapeeth has made a humble start to a Dairy with a cow shed having 20 cows. The milk produced at the dairy is sold to the downtrodden people at local milk deficit areas at cheaper rates. The cow dung obtained from the Goshala is used as a bio-fertilizer for agriculture.
The cows are taken care of very well – with regular bathing, grazing at our own lush green fields and also vaccination for the prevention of diseases. The initial shed was a clay-tiled one, but now we have upgraded to a asbestos roofing and cemented flooring for better cleanliness. The cows are also worshiped as Gomata.
