Sree Satyananda Vidyaniketan
Everyone has the right to Education. With this motto in mind, Sree Satyananda Vidyaniketan School was started in April 2002 in the Mahapeeth premises. Primarily 18 rooms were constructed and students from classes Preparatory to X were admitted.
Now, about 500 children from nearby villages are studying in the school. Sree Satyananda Vidyaniketan is run purely on a charitable basis by the ashram. Apart from the normal educational syllabus, various other extra curricular activities in the fields of sports, culture and environment welfare are also taught to the students.
According to Sree Thakur’s wishes, Sanskrit language is being taught to the students of Class V to X. A Sanskrit Vidyalaya cum Chhatravas is also under construction for advanced learning in this field. Dedicated teachers, totally devoted to Sree Thakur and Sree Maa are in charge of delivering the education to the students.
Mid-day meals are served to the students on a daily basis. Yoga in its various aspects are gradually imbibed among the students by the teachers for their overall well being. Regular prayers are also part of the day to day activities of the students. A computer lab is also present to make the students computer savvy.
