Healthcare Facilities
A general Medical Center has been started at the Mahapeeth for the well being of the nearby villages. It is called Sree Satyananda Mother & Child Welfare Home and is maintained in association with Lions Club of Baruipur.
The first phase of building has already been completed. The current facilities allow about 200 people to be served daily. About 15 villages with 50,000 people are covered. Medicines are distributed for free among the needy patients.
The Medical Center boasts an Outdoor Department for General Medicine, Gynecology, Child Disease and Eye Clinic. A Pathological Test Lab, which was essential with respect to the neighborhood, has also been set up.
The hospital also has a Homeopathy Department – Sree Satyananda Homoeo Clinic, which serves at least 50 patients daily. Doctors who are devotees in their heart, serve all patients according to the ideals of Thakur Sree Satyananda.
